Day 12 - God’s Blessings Will Take Us Over the Top

And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. Deuteronomy 28:13

Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph and be victorious! We say, “You can’t keep a good man down!” Joseph is a good example of that. No matter what happened to him he would always rise to the top. The enemy tried to crush him by using the weapons of jealousy, false accusations and the rigors of prison life. Joseph stood firm in integrity and humility. God exalted above his brothers and indeed above a whole nation of people. How do we rise to the top? We climb the ladder of obedience. One step at a time.

So, we pray: God grant us victories in areas in which we have felt defeated. Help us to keep our eyes and you and not on what our enemy is doing. God you are our victory. Amen.
